These 3 tips will help YOU stick to your resolution and achieve your goal:
1. Work within your means – Reach for the sky, but not the stars. Your resolution should be something you plan on achieving but not something that is so farfetched that you cannot possibly get there.
2. Set small milestones within your ultimate goal – For example- if your resolution is to dress better in 2015, break it up into parts. Set a goal of finding the perfect pair of pants in week one. Week two can be dedicated to finding the perfect accessory, such as a Longines watch. The same goes for physical goals, which many people like to set. If your goal is to lost 50 lbs, you should set smaller milestones within. Set weekly points, and lay out exercise plans for yourself. Each week you could plan to lose 2 lbs.
3. Have support – Don’t keep your resolution to yourself. Tell your friends and family! Having a support group will increase your chances of success a great deal.
